New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the CBD. It happened around 10:30 Friday night in the 100 block of Carondolet Street, where the St. Charles Ave. streetcar unloads and loads passengers on the downtown end of its route.

"Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim lying face up in the street, suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds to the body," said police in a statement.

"The individuals above-pictured were observed on surveillance video in the area," said police. "The individuals are considered persons of interest and may have information concerning the incident."

Police say anyone who has information should call NOPD Homicide Detective Eric Illarmo at (504) 658-5300, or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111 or toll free at (877) 903-7867 (STOP). Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
