Our Thanksgiving should be nice with morning lows in the 40s and 50s to start the day.  Highs will get up to the upper 60s to near 70 by the afternoon.

"The 'good-feel' air will last through Black Friday with warmer and more humid air quickly returning on Saturday as a warm front moves northward out of the Gulf ahead of an upper low, which will push a cold front through early Sunday," said WWL-TV chief meteorologist Chris Franklin.

Rain could come on Saturday with a 50% chance for showers and storms late Saturday and early Sunday, with some risk for a few isolated strong to severe storms, but the risk is low.

Colder air moves in Sunday, the first of December, and will stay chilly into early next week.
