New Orleans and Montreal have a lot in common:  French culture and ancestry.  Storied hotels.  Jazz festivals.  Acadians.  Now, the two cities will share an airline.

Canada's third largest airline will inaugurate direct flight service between New Orleans and Montreal November 3rd for the winter tourism season.

However, due to high demand, Air Transat is extending the period of air service to New Orleans into summer.

Booking is available now for travelers looking to get to or from Montreal for as low as $102 one-way.

Flights will run twice a week, Thursdays and Sundays.
