One month from today, New Orleans voter begin selecting their next mayor, but have any of the candidates grabbed anyone's attention? Political analyst Clancy DuBos says this race really hasn't sparked a whole lot of interest so far.

"There does not appear to be a lot of energy," said DuBos. "I think voters are waiting to be inspired."

DuBos said candidates have yet to find an issue to seize on as their own, and no one as yet has demonstrated the personal charisma to build a wave of support.

"Waiting for someone to have a 'wow' factor, either on an issue or by force of their personality or something that would make voters sit up and take notice," DuBos said.

But DuBos says whether voters get energized by these candidates or not, they're going to have to live with one of them calling the shots in New Orleans City Hall for the next four years.
