LSU closing in on 10 wins after picked to finish 5th in SEC West

Prior to the season, LSU was picked to finish 5th in the seven-team SEC West, but the Fighting Tigers could end up winning 10 regular season games, if they defeat Texas A&M on Saturday. SiriusXM College Football Sports Nation host Braden Gall was one of those who didn't expect much from this group of Tigers.

"The offense is still a mess, but it's still one hell of season, definitely not what I anticipated, good to see Coach O doing well, I don't think there is one person in our business that's not rooting for him," said Gall.
LSU remains ranked 7th in the latest college football playoff rankings.
Orgeron is 24-8 at LSU in two-plus seasons as the Fighting Tigers head coach.
But Gall says eventually Orgeron will have to beat Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.
"What you have to do at LSU is beat Alabama, you have to win national championships, that's what LSU deserve and that's what LSU fans expect."
This Saturday, the Tigers will look to continue their dominance over Texas A-&M when the two teams meet in College Station. LSU has won seven in a row in the series.
