After a 4-2 victory over Arkansas, the LSU Tigers have won the SEC baseball tournament for the twelfth time in school history.  Tigers have now won 11 straight games, with 10 out of 11 of those victories came against SEC foes.  Greg Deichmann was sensational at the plate, hitting nearly .500 during the tournament along with two home runs.  Starter Eric Walker pitched 7 & 2/3rd innings while giving up one run on six hits.  Hunter Newman closed out the victory for his 10th save of the season.

As SEC regular season champs and tournament champions LSU will get a top 8 national seed.  The NCAA selection committee hasn't officially announced the seedings yet, but the resume is way too good not to get one.  The sixteen Regional host sites will be announced tonight at 6pm. The seedings and pairings for the Regional and Super Regionals will be announced Monday morning at 11am.
