According to The Times Picayune | The New Orleans Advocate, Landry announced he was positive for the coronavirus in a mass email sent to state Department of Justice employees.

Landry says he is self-quarantining even though he is asymptomatic.

“Out of an overabundance of caution with the Vice President coming to our state, I was tested for Cornavirus,” Landry wrote in his email Tuesday morning. “Though experiencing no symptoms, I tested positive for COVID-19.”
