The heat continues for the next few days with no rain forecast until Thursday.  Expect the possibility of spotty showers over the weekend, too.
However temperatures will remain in the low 90s.

"Our weather pattern starts to change on Thursday as the ridge of high pressure breaks down and weakens as a cold front and trough head toward us," said WWL-TV meteorologist Dave Nussbaum.  "Right now, it looks like the cold front will stay just north of SE Louisiana, but it will be close enough to set off some showers and storms on Thursday and Friday."

So the hot weather continues before we finally get some relief from showers.

Look for spotty showers over the weekend.  Temps remain in the low 90s.
