The Rolling Stones will bring their world tour to Jazz Fest this May. To prevent overcrowding the Fair Grounds, limited tickets will be made available for that day, in what is sure to be a sold-out event.

The festival is offering Louisiana residents a chance to purchase tickets before the rest of the world can buy them.

This Thursday, January 17, tickets for the May 2 show can be bought in-person at the Plaza level box office of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Buyers must have valid Louisiana ID. The price is $185.

The box office will be open from 10:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. Buyers can start lining up at 12:01 a.m. Free parking will be offered in Superdome Garage 5.

Tickets to the general public for all days of the fest go on sale the following day, Friday, January 18. Tickets for the day of The Rolling Stones' performance are expected to sell out fast.
