The Edna Karr Cougars are used to making special December memories in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.  They did it again this year in with another 4A championship game victory, a 48-26 runaway against the previously undefeated Lakeshore Titans.  The Cougars (14-1) captured their second consecturive 4A crown, and their fourth title in program history.

The Karr offense was nearly unstoppable, racking up 570 total yards of offense including 402 yards on the ground.  Ronnie Jackson carried the ball 22 times for 114 yards and four touchdowns for the Cougars.   Quarterback Skylar Perrty added 168 yards through the air on 11-17 passing, plus 151 yards rushing on 22 carries.

Lakeshore (14-1) suffered their first defeat of the season.  Quarterback Chris Penton was 13-30 for 206 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Titans.
