After reports of past sexual abuse on the campus of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, the president of the school is speaking out.

Father Christopher Fronk has been holding meetings and sending out letters.

"Sexual abuse is disgusting, and we reiterate our apology for the hurt and sadness inflicted on any victim in our community," the priest said in a letter sent to alumni.

He also promises to never permit such behavior again.

"I assure you, we are all committed to the safety of everyone on campus. School personnel are all mandatory reporters. Any credible allegation of sexual abuse against someone who is a minor will be immediately reported to law enforcement," Fronk insists. "I stressed to parents and faculty today that they are the front line in recognizing harmful situations and should report inappropriate behavior immediately."
