The holiday weekend will be partly cloudy, hot and humid with high temperatures in the lower 90s.  It will feel like 95-100, so take it easy if you will be outside for an extended period of time today.  Tonight will be partly cloudy and muggy with lows in the 70s on both sides of the lake.  

"The ridge of high pressure will build toward Louisiana and that means more heat," said WWL-TV meteorologist Dave Nussbaum.  "We could actually be close to record high temperatures on Sunday and Monday."

SUNDAY:
Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Lows around 75. Highs around 93.

MONDAY - MEMORIAL DAY:
Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Lows around 76. Highs around 93.  

TUESDAY:
Partly cloudy, hot and humid. Lows around 76. Highs around 92. 

WEDNESDAY:
Partly cloudy, hot and humid. Lows around 75. Highs around 91. 

THURSDAY:
Partly cloudy, hot and humid with a 10% chance for a shower or storm. Lows around 75. Highs around 91.
