The work week starts off with pretty good weather.   Low humidity and temps in the 70s on Monday and Tuesday.  Wednesday brings a little more humidity and increasing clouds.

Thursday gives us the best chance of rain and some possible thunderstorms.

"The showers and storms around mean you'll likely need umbrellas and rain ponchos for the first day of Jazz Fest on Thursday," said WWL-TV meteorologist Chris Franklin.

Some lingering showers on Friday but a better day.  The weekend looks great for Jazz Fest.
