NFL running back Mark Ingram, who won the 2009 Heisman Trophy playing for Nick Saban's Alabama Crimson Tide, says he knows why the Tide failed to roll Saturday when they lost to the LSU Fighting Tigers 46-61. He puts the blame on the appearance of President Donald Trump at the game.

The president may not be the best presence for the home team. When Mr. Trump attended Game 5 of the World Series at Nationals Park in Washington, DC, the hometown Nationals lost to the Houston Astros 7-1.

Ingram, however, likely wasn't serious about pinning his Tide's loss on President Trump, acknowledging that a stellar performance from LSU QB Joe Burrow and running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire probably had a lot more to do with LSU's upset victory.
