Driver dies in Lapalco Boulevard solo car crash

An early morning single car crash near the intersection of Lapalco Boulevard and Belle Chasse Highway, in the Timberlane neighborhood, is under investigation by the Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office.

According to a release from Sheriff Joseph Lopinto, the fatal accident occured around 3:45am.

The driver of a 2006 Lexus was heading east on Lapalco when his car left the roadway and collided with a concrete traffic control device.
