Is Saturday's game a trap game for the LSU Tigers?

Former LSU quarterback Herb Tyler has heard the concern that LSU could look past Utah State to the big Florida matchup a week away.

The WWL LSU analyst says it has happened before.

"You look back a couple of years ago to when Troy came in here, and they shocked the world right? And the beat us," Tyler remembered.  "You don't want that to happen again."

He insists the Tigers are in a great place with a real shot this season.

"We have an opportunity to do something special this year. I don't think these guys are going to mess that up."

He says while LSU clearly is playing a less competitive opponent this weekend, and has a top ten showdown next weekend, this Tiger team is properly prepared.

"I don't think they are going to look past Utah State this weekend," Tyler said.

Fifth ranked LSU Football kicks off at 11:00am tomorrow in Tiger Stadium.  The Purple and Gold is favored by 27 points.
