Our Wednesday morning is starting out very cold, both north and south of the lake.

Slidell, Baton Rouge, McComb, and even Biloxi seeing record lows in the 20s this morning.

Freeze warning remain in effect until 8 a.m.

"We will not really warm up much today," said WWL-TV meteorologist Dave Nussbaum who says we can still expect plenty of sunshine.  "High temperatures will be in the lower 50s."

By tonight expect a few more clouds.  Not as cold with low temperatures in the 40s.

"The low will stay just off our coast on Thursday, but it will bring us scattered showers and plenty of clouds all day," Nussbaum added.

High temperatures will only be in the lower 50s.

Looking ahead to the weekend we can expect to see plenty of sunshine with cool temperatures.  Saturday will be in upper 50s, and 60s by Sunday.
