Chalmette woman rescued in Alabama waters, two N.O. swimmers also missing

U.S. Coast Guard rescuers searched for two missing swimmers after a Chalmette woman was rescued from the waters near Orange Beach Alabama, on Sunday.

According to WKRGan Alabama news station, Baldwin County authorities found Jasmine Brundy, 28, of Chalmette, floating face down in the waters in Perdido Pass on Sunday. As WKRG reports, witnesses near Perdido Pass say they had seen a woman and two men floating in the waters, clinging to an inflatable device and flailing their arms.

Authorities say Brundy was flown Sunday evening to an area hospital in critical condition.

On Memorial Day morning, the Orange Beach Police Department, and the U.S. Coast Guard began searching for the two other men still missing in the waters, Ryan Guy, 28, of New Orleans, and Darrius Robinson, 22, of New Orleans.
