Cajun Cannon: Saints might be the best in the NFL

The Saints can hang with anybody in the trenches

The Saints are 4 and 1, and on a three game winning streak and head to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars on Sunday.  So are they the best team in the NFC?
WWL's Cajun Cannon, Bobby Hebert thinks they are.

"NFC, I think we amongst the best in the NFL," he emphatically states.  "The Patriots haven't played anybody.  I'm looking at the Chiefs against the Colts the other night, that was old school smash mouth.  The Colts just whooped 'em in the trenches, so I know we can hang with any team that would maybe challenge us in the trenches on the offense and defensive line."

Hebert says if Teddy Bridgewater continues to play like he's been playing then the Saints should continue to win.

"To be realistic, I'd be disappointed if we don't win 2 out of the next 3," Hebert said.  "Just look at Las Vegas, Jacksonville's game is a pick-em.   Aren't we a lot better than Jacksonville?  Jacksonville is a whole lot better at home than on the road, but they haven't been a team that's been dominant in the trenches as of late."

The latest odds from Vegas have the Saints 9 to 1 odds to win the Super Bowl, behind  only the Patriots and the Chiefs.
