Stocks ended narrowly mixed today.

The Dow rose 8 points, and the S&P edged up less than a point, but the Nasdaq slipped 3.

Oil prices rebounded a bit. Benchmark crude rose 40 cents to $68.99 a barrel.

We’re feeling pretty confident about the economy and our own financial well being! The latest numbers on consumer sentiment from the University of Michigan are very close to the post-recession high.

Preliminary September data show that consumers are now more optimistic about finding or retaining a job...and are less worried about inflation.

What’s old is new again on television. Yes, another reboot!

25 years after its original seven-season run, “Designing Women” is coming back.

The Hollywood Reporter says ABC has given the original series creators a script commitment for a show that will follow the next generation of Sugarbakers and young female designers at an Atlanta interior design firm.
