Baton Rouge billboards celebrate Joe "Burreaux"

Chuck Cook/USA TODAY Sports
Billboards have sprung up around the Baton Rouge area in tribute to LSU quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Joe Burrow.
Burrow led the Tigers to a perfect regular season with Saturday's 50-7 win over Texas A&M. The senior celebrated his last game in Tiger Stadium with a custom jersey that read "Burreaux" before the game began.
"I thought it would be an awesome tribute to the state, to the university," said Burrow, who wore a jersey with the regular spelling of his name during the game.
Burrow spent three seasons as a backup QB for the Ohio State Buckeyes before transferring to LSU in search of an opportunity to play.
On his Twitter account, Burrow said Death Valley is where "opponents dreams come to die... but where mine came true."
A tribute to this great state and university. Death Valley, where opponents dreams come to die... but where mine came true https://t.co/lGLyAkBLAG
