Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms says she was joking when she said she didn't want the Saints coming to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII, and said "I know there's going to be a bounty on my head for saying that."

The comments quickly drew heat from New Orleanians, and at a pre-Super Bowl news conference today, she said it's apparent some people didn't take her comments for the joke she meant it to be.

"We are so very thankful for those who come to Atlanta for this Super Bowl. In all seriousness, that includes Patriots fans, that includes New Orleans fans, that includes whoever may be in town," said Bottoms.

Some Atlanta fans are especially nervous the Super Bowl could feature the Saints versus New England -- one, their divisional rival, the other the team that came back from a 25-point deficit against the Falcons in Super Bowl LI, leading to endless "28-3" jokes that many in the Who Dat Nation still find funny today.
