American Idol is coming back, and they're looking for singers in New Orleans.

"Bringing Idol back, I was a little nervous at first, but once we got out on the road, and we opened up our bus auditions down in Orlando, Florida and we had an awesome turnout, so the love is still there," Lynn said.

Lynn says right now they're just concentrating to finding talented singers in down here in New Orleans.

"As we like to say, 'no stone left unturned looking for great talent,'" Lynn added.
If you want to audition you can you can still show up today.  Hall G of the Convention Center.  You must be between 15 to 28 years old.

"We kind of thought that it was too soon for Idol to go away when it did, and we've always had the mindset that Idol was going to live on somewhere, and ABC is such a great fit for us," said Lynn.

So far, one judge named, pop star Katy Perry, and Ryan Seacrest will return to host American Idol.
